Venue Spotlight: Quail Ranch

We're sharing a hidden gem and one of our personal favorites today - high on the hill, Quail Ranch  is a family owned and operated avocado ranch located just outside of Los Angeles in Ventura County, in the city of Simi Valley perfect for an intimate and rustic elegant wedding. With so many options they have to offer from the estate house and poolside to the lodge and grounds itself, there is certainly something for everyone. 

Our personal favorite is the estate house, The Ranch House. The Ranch House features Spanish Revival architecture which adds a unique charm and beauty to the property. It has large beautiful windows, a lovely courtyard, splashing fountains, and original handmade tiles creating a beautiful backdrop. We swoon over the details all the time!

Avocados, lemons, oranges and tangerines fill the landscape alongside towering pines and mature oak trees. The scent of orange blossoms, lavender or wisteria is always in the air. With manicured lawns, lovely brick patio areas and vibrant natural landscaping, this is a must see. Venue Spotlight: Villa & Vine

We've been blessed that we have had many opportunities to work at this lovely venue. Villa & Vine is an all-inclusive venue with just an F&B minimum, and no site fee. You just need a planner - Burlap & Bordeaux! 

You can customize a menu or select from their food and bar packages. All pricing on food and beverage packages include tax, gratuity, staffing, tables, linens, chairs, candles, dance floor, heat lamps, restrooms, beautiful twinkle lights and ambient lighting.

Venue Spotlight: The Hotel Californian

Last week we had the chance to visit Santa Barbara's brand new beautiful venue - The Hotel Californian. We thought it was only fitting that we also shine a little spotlight on them because we were so head over heels after meeting them and learning all that this property had to offer!

The Hotel Californian features Spanish Colonial Revival architecture and modern Moorish interior décor from one of our favorite celebrity designer Martyn Lawrence Bullard. This seaside destination features a rooftop pool and event deck providing panoramic views of the coastline and the Santa Ynez Mountains.
